WOW! stands for “women only weekend”. This is an ITA program that was created to promote a fun and empowering environment for all female-identifying persons to come and learn or continue honing their trail maintenance skills.

About the event
Description: This is ITA’s first Women’s Only week-long! The crew will fly into Chamberlain Guard Station in the Frank Church and hike over to Stonebraker Ranch. On Monday morning the crew will head up Ranch Creek towards Flossie Lake for the night, clearing the trail along the way. From Flossie Lake the crew will clear its way to Wet Meadows and camp there for the night. Volunteers will then do day trips on the trails in the area. Halligan will be clearing his way up the West Fork of Chamberlain Creek to meet up with the crew and pack them back to Stonebraker Ranch for the Saturday morning fly out.

Difficulty: 2-moderate-longer hikes, elevation gain, heavier packs more strenuous work
